Welcome to the Canning Vale Junior Football Club & Auskick for 2018!

CVJFC Auskick specific information will be posted here during the season.

AUSKICK FAQ's

AGE: Auskick is for primary school children between the ages of 5 - 7. Children must be turning 5 years old before 30th June 2016 to be eligible to play this year.
As a general guide, children in Pre-Primary to Year 2 are able to play Auskick.

WHEN / WHERE: Auskick games are played at Ranford Oval and/or Clifton Oval in Canning Vale on a Sunday morning from early May - late August, starting times vary from 8am to 11am depending on age group. Fixtures will be completed and parents advised once all teams are finalised.

TRAINING: Training is held once a week. Days and times are at the discretion of the coach and is based on ground availability within the local area. Coaches will contact players to advise training information once teams are finalised.

WHAT TO WEAR: All Auskick players are required to purchase a pair of Cougars football shorts and plain black football socks (available from the club, please click on Apparel for pricing) along with football boots. Canning Vale football jumpers are provided for each game.

MOUTHGUARDS: Mouthguards are optional at Auskick level.
Mouthguards can be custom made at your local dentist or orthodontist. Alternatively, DIY mouthguards can be purchased from most pharmacies.

CODES OF CONDUCT: Please ensure you read the various Codes of Conduct and Club  Policies that form part of your child's registration. By registering your child, you are agreeing to these policies.

PARENT INVOLVEMENT: Parents are the driving force behind Auskick and the Canning Vale Junior Football Club. Their role as coordinators, coaches and volunteers is fundamental to the success of the program. All committee members, coaches, helpers are VOLUNTEERS and your assistance is always needed and appreciated, especially for Auskick.

All families are expected to be involved in their child’s Auskick program. You do not need any previous experience to assist. This includes helping with ground set up and pack up, canteen/bbq duty, jumper washing, providing oranges or snacks etc etc on a rotational basis.
Your experience as a parent is all you need to be a valuable volunteer. AFL Auskick is, hopefully, the start of a lifetime involvement in Australian Football.
